15 years together

For our 15th anniversary (and my Birthday) we went to Cali. for a week. We had such a wonderful time with just the two of us. That doesn't happen very often. Our favorite thing that we did was whale watching in Newport. It was amazing. 2 1/2 hours on the ocean. It was fabulous! This is a blue whale, which is the largest mammal on earth and has been for a long time. He showed himself off to us 3 times.

We passed these California Sea Lions maxin' and relaxin'. They were very acrobatic and doing tricks for us.

We went to Hollywood one evening. It was really fun. We walked on the "Walk of Fame" and saw a bunch on interesting look a likes. I felt like I was in NY. The streets were crowded with people at nine o'clock at night.

We stopped for ice cream just off Hollywood Blvd. -Coconut pineapple! Yummy!
We spent a day in Disneyland. One day was actually plenty. We got to ride everything that we wanted to a couple of times. Right now they have Halloween decor up. It was cute.

This trip was well worth it. It was great spending time with Erica's family.

We have been together for 15 years and many more to come!

The girls were pretty excited for the first day of school and a bit nervous! Three of them had to go to a new school this year. Des is at RHS, Karly at RHMS, Avery is at Pahvant, and Gracie is at Ashman. Gracie was of course excited. She loves school and being with her friends. Getting her to read every night is a chore though. She is in 1st grade with Ms. Christensen. Avery loves school too. Our two youngest our more the social butterflies of the four. Ava is very smart and loves to learn. She is in 3rd grade with Mrs. Christensen. Yes Av & Grace both have a Christensen. Karly was more excited than nervous. The night before school started she had orientation and I think that made her feel better about finding her classes and being able to open her locker. She loves the middle school. She is in 6Th grade with 7 different teachers. Desiree was really worried about going to RHS. She said before taking her to school the first day, "Don't be surprised if I come home crying!" Well guess what? She came home smiling and was so excited. Thank Heavens!
